Alex has over 15 years of advisory and transactional expertise across a wide range of industries, including numerous capital raises and both buy-side and sell-side M&A assignments. He also has entrepreneurial experience as both a company founder and an early employee of a venture-backed technology start up. Alex's professional career includes both management consulting and various operating roles, and he has worked with clients in Asia, Europe, and across the United States.
Highly active in education reform, Alex currently serves on the boards of West Denver Preparatory Charter Schools, the Colorado Charter Schools Institute, the Charter School Development Corporation, the Colorado chapter of Stand for Children, and is a senior fellow in education at the Donnell-Kay Foundation.
He holds a BA from Vassar College, an MA from Georgetown University, and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School at Northwestern University. |

Floyd brings a strong operating background with considerable expertise in Healthcare and Biotech industries. He has both founded and led a number of public and private diagnostic and therapeutics companies, including CytoCore, Inc., (CYOE.OB), Digene, Inc., (acquired by Qiagen in 2007), LifeTime Pharmaceuticals, Inc., (a private company focused on immunotherapeutic drugs for cancer) and FindCure.Org, Inc., (a 501(c)3) focused on immune modulation. He has also served as Chief Medical Officer of Otraces, Inc., and Eveia Medical, Inc., which both specialized in high sensitivity diagnostics including cancer screening. Prior to his work in industry he was Head of a Pathology Unit in the National Institutes of Health (NIH) which focused on immunopatholgy.
Dr. Taub received his M.D. from the Northwestern University; trained in pathology at the University of Colorado and was the first Surgical Pathology Fellowship at George Washington University. He is “Board Certified” in pathology and licensed in Maryland and California.

Lauren has a variety of transactional and advisory experience, with a particular focus on consumer and cleantech industries. Most recently, Lauren was Vice President at LJS Capital, a financial advisory firm specializing in M&A transactions, capital raises, and strategic growth initiatives. Prior to joining LJS, Lauren was an Associate at the Denver-based law firm of Holme, Roberts & Owen. In 2009, she was awarded the Outstanding Young Lawyer of the Year award by the Boulder County Bar Association. Lauren also has experience as a management consultant at MarketBridge in Bethesda, MD where she specialized in sales and marketing consulting for Fortune 500 companies.
A native of Colorado, Lauren is an avid skier and a competitive triathlete. She also loves to travel and is a fluent Spanish-speaker. She keeps her legal and language skills fresh as a regular volunteer with Boulder County Legal Services and Boulder Community Mediation, and as an after-school Spanish teacher at Louisville Elementary School.
Lauren holds a BA from Hamilton College and a JD from the University of Colorado School of Law.

Before eBay, Gil worked at General Electric, Bain & Co., and started two small technology companies. Gil is an active angel investor in companies including Linkedin, Paypal, Flock, ZipRealty, Plusmo, Coveroo, and SiteJabber.

Previously, Fran consulted to a range of companies including National Geographic, NPR West, and several family foundations. She also served as Vice President of Business Development at Novica United, a venture-backed social enterprise that retails and wholesales home decor products made by artisans in Asia, Africa and Latin America.
Fran has a Bachelors of Science in economics from Columbia University and an MBA from Harvard University. She is a Senior Fellow at the Society & Business Lab at USC’s Marshall School of Business. |

Prior to Crowd Factory, he was the Chief Marketing Officer for Lithium Technologies, the leading provider of Social CRM solutions. Sanjay has also served as Senior Vice President and General Manager for SumTotal Systems, and as a consultant at both McKinsey & Company and Andersen Consulting.

Mike was previously Executive Vice-President of Interactive for MediaNews Group, the 4th largest publisher of newspapers in the U.S. Mike also has considerable experience with early-stage companies, as co-founder of interactive agency Indigio (purchased by Bridgeline), an Officer and VP of Sales for Digital Courier Technologies, and Director of National Sales for Mapquest.
